So, for anyone who's interested, I just put up my first post in my travel journal. There's only a few pictures at the moment, but in the next few days and over the next 8 months, I plan on adding several more.

So, can someone explain to me how you do those fake cut things? You know, when you hide most of the message so that you don't take up all of your friend's Friend Pages? Because I really want to post some pictures, but I don't want to annoy people. :)

I was volunteering at the children's hospital yesterday, when one of the little kids knocked paint on the floor. The pot landed right side up, and paint went shooting out of it. Because I was sitting next to it, I ended up with paint covering me from my back pocket, to my shoulder and even some on my nose.
The kids thought it was great. One of them had a lot of fun pointing to all the different places that I had paint on me. And I was just as amused, and frankly impressed that I managed to make it two months (with two visits a week) before I ended up with a major paint spill on me. Go me!
At the end of it all, I have come away with a trendy, new, painted, jeans pocket (one of the mother's assured me that I could turn it inot the next beg fashion hit)and a lessoned learned: Watch out for the elbows of small children who are painting with both hands next to paint pots sitting on the edge of the table.
